The position of a goddess is accorded to women in India. But the difficulties they encounter merely serve to refute this idea. On the one hand, people revere them as goddesses, while on the other hand, they constantly mistreat them and think less of them.

The Sati system, the prohibition against widow remarriage, the devadasi system, and other serious problems were present in the early days. There are new difficulties that women confront, however the majority of them are not as common today.
Despite the fact that they are different, they are nonetheless just as bad as the early ones. They hinder national progress and instill a sense of inferiority among women. In India, women suffer a serious problem with violence against them.
Various types of it occur virtually daily. Instead of intervening, people choose to ignore it. You would be surprised at how frequently domestic violence occurs. Marital rape, genital mutilation, and other crimes like as dowry-related harassment are also prevalent.

Solutions for Solving These Problems
To combat these difficulties faced by Indian women, we must all band together as one. It is the responsibility of every individual and the government to work towards ensuring women’s safety.
Crimes against women must be punished with stricter legislation, which must be implemented. In order for everyone to take them seriously, they must be implemented appropriately. Men and women need to have equal access to opportunities.
Women must be pushed to provide their best efforts in every sector. Equal opportunities are required, regardless of whether they are in the medical or athletic fields. Also, it is imperative to emphasise the importance of education.
For a better future, it must become mandatory to educate all girls and women. To defend and uphold the rights of the women of India, we must work together. Both the globe and our nation will benefit from it as we grow as a nation.
We must all be willing to treat women equally as our counterparts as a result. Every step of the way, we need to support them, but we also need to give them the freedom to choose for themselves.
In order to prevent prejudice against women based on their gender, these problems can then be resolved.
